| Its appropriate that we are studying the book of Philippians at Aline. There has been much to rejoice about lately. What an honor and priveledge to be there for my friend Amy's Baptism! Not everyone could fit in her upstairs bathroom to witness her be baptised, but these photos capture the joy of her public declaration as a symbol of her new life in Christ! What an awesome moment and one of the coolest baptism moments i have ever witnessed because you could feel the love.

Mark 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned
Romans 6:3 Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.
1 Peter 3:21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at God's right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.
Joy
This was my favorite moment. The girls of Aline are loving, sincere, faithful and compassionate, just to name a few of their great qualities. The genuine joy and tears expressed as people prayed for Amy and encouraged her were a beautiful picture of the Love of Christ demonstrated in loving one another! I feel honored to serve along side these awesome girls.
Hopefully, you can feel the joy of this declaration of New Life in Christ!
